Slowly but surely

Things are coming along, slowly but surely.  We've got some of the wiring figured out, to the point that we can turn over the motor.
We got a mini-high torque starter.....sounds super cool when it's spinning the motor over, and of course, the Hedman headers that came with the motor.........don't fit.  They are for a truck and physically won't work with an F-Body.  So if you want 'em, they are for sale on Marketplace.

We were able to find (locally) a set of stock exhaust manifolds... complete with the air pipes.... got those removed and pluged, wire-wheeled and high temp painted.... they came out great.

It's amazing who you meet when working on cars.  The gentleman I bought the manifolds from had the same motor that he had rebuilt and was just a wealth of information.  I spent an hour at his place just talking TPI motors!

Last two pictures are from my sister and brother-in-laws Hyundai Palisade.  This is a nice vehicle!    The modes (sport, ECO, comfort etc) actually work and you can feel the difference.  I liked how when you put it in sport mode, the seat back actually activates and hugs you so you are more stable in cornering!

It got the works!  Engine oil and filter, transmission drain and fill, front and rear diff drain and fill, and air filters.  AMSOIL of course, but I also ordered a FRAM XG full synthetic oil filter and the air filters from www.thewrenchmonkey.com

A great source for parts from a Canadian company.
