Here you'll find answers to common questions I receive at M.F.R. Lubricants. I believe in transparency and want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best choice for your vehicle and equipment.
Q. Do you have *this oil, this grease, this gear lube* in stock?
A. Currently I don't carry much stock. I have stock of what I will be using.... It's available to you, but DON'T WORRY, If I don't have what you want, orders placed usually arrive from the Mississauga warehouse within 2 business days!
Q. Why should I pay more for AMSOIL?
A. The biggest hesitations are usually around cost compared to big box store oils, the absence of a storefront, and the fact that I am not a mechanic shop. You can be sure ANY AMSOIL product you purchase is of the highest quality. In fact, AMSOIL has it's own oil warranty on top of your vehicles. Ask me for more details, or find it on the website. AMSOIL is primarily distributed through authorized dealers like me!
Q. Can you change my oil?
A. I can. If we make arrangements and you can come to my place. I don't have a lift, so you'll see me rolling around on the ground..... But i can do it.
Q. Why can't I buy AMSOIL right from your website?
A. AMSOIL has a policy. All online orders must be made through their website. You'll notice any links on my website, redirect you to the AMSOIL.CA website with my referral code. If you use these links, it associates your account (if you make one) to me. That way I can personally help you out!
Q. You sell it... but do you actually use it?
A. Heck yeah! I've been using it as a preferred customer since 2012. Cars, trucks, tractors, small engines, snowmobiles, dirtbikes, ATV's, chainsaws, blowers, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, Diesel, gas... you name it... I use it. I believe in the product, that's why I use it!
Q. Are you a mechanic?
A. Nope. I'm not a mechanic. I'm pretty sure my guidance counsellor told me I should be... I didn't listen. I should have. I'm an enthusiast.
Q. Do you work for AMSOIL?
A. No. I'm not an employee of AMSOIL. I am an authorized dealer for AMSOIL products.
Q. How long have you been selling AMSOIL?
A. I started selling AMSOIL in October of 2023, but I've been using AMSOIL products since 2012!
Q. Do you offer any other services?
A. I do. Less so on passenger vehicles, as I'm not a licenced mechanic, but I work on ATV's, UTV's, snowmobiles, dirtbikes, anything small engine.
Q. Are you on Google maps?
A. Yup. Somewhere, tucked away on these pages, you'll find a map as well. But search up M.F.R. Lubricants, and you'll find ME!
